The film
A birthday party in an abandoned castle looks like perfect content for an online channel, until something awakens.
Alex, a popular Italian-American YouTuber, is on holiday in Italy with his family and friends. For his sister’s birthday, which falls on the day of a solar eclipse, he throws a party in an abandoned castle where three tourists vanished twenty years earlier, convinced that the footage will grow his channel.
According to local legend, the castle stands over one of the gates of hell. In one of its rooms the group finds the symbol of the demon Furcas, and the hunt for spectacular footage awakens an ancient presence: the party becomes a night of isolation, fear and survival.
